Book ConsultationOverview
Dermal fillers are one of the most versatile non-surgical tools in aesthetic medicine. At FusionMed, we use premium hyaluronic acid (HA) formulations — including Juvederm and Restylane — to restore volume, define contours, and correct structural asymmetries across the face, hands, and body. Founder Annie Li brings a former IMG eye surgeon's precision to every treatment plan, with particular depth in the eye area — widely regarded as the most technically demanding zone in aesthetics — as well as nose filler shaped to Asian facial anatomy. Annie has also developed a set of signature restorative techniques, including the V-Face Sculpt for natural jaw contouring, the Skin Lift for lax facial skin, the Body Skin Lift for sagging body skin, and the Knuckle Lift for youthful, plump hands. Our approach emphasizes anatomical precision, natural-looking results, and long-term outcomes — including for complex and revision cases, and for our VIP clients who expect the highest standard of care.

Ideal Candidate
Who It's For
Dermal fillers are suitable for adults experiencing age-related volume loss, facial asymmetry, or wishing to enhance specific features — from women in their 30s pursuing subtle prevention to those in their 60s seeking comprehensive restoration. They are particularly effective for those in their mid-30s and beyond who notice flattening of the cheeks, hollowing around the eyes, or loss of lip definition. We also welcome complex and revision cases, and VIP clients seeking a higher standard of precision and discretion. Fillers are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. A medical consultation confirms the most appropriate products and volumes for your goals. Available at our Toronto, North York, and Stouffville clinics.

The Process
How It Works
01
Facial Mapping & Consultation
We begin with a detailed facial assessment to identify volume loss, asymmetry, and areas of concern. Our medical team will discuss a treatment plan with specific products and volumes tailored to your facial anatomy and your decade of life.
02
Preparation & Injection
A topical anesthetic is applied to maximize comfort. Filler is injected using ultra-fine needles or blunt-tip cannulas, depending on the area. The session typically lasts 30–60 minutes.
03
Immediate Results with Ongoing Refinement
Results are visible immediately and improve as initial swelling resolves over 1–2 weeks. A follow-up appointment is scheduled to assess final results and make any refinements.

Common Questions
FAQs
What signature techniques does Annie use for filler treatments?
Annie has developed a set of restorative techniques refined over years of practice: the V-Face Sculpt for natural jaw and chin contouring, the Skin Lift and Body Skin Lift for lax facial and body skin, and the Knuckle Lift for youthful, plump hands. Each is designed to deliver natural-looking, long-lasting results without surgery.
Do you offer nose filler, and is it suited to Asian facial anatomy?
Yes. Non-surgical nose filler (liquid rhinoplasty) can refine the bridge and tip and improve facial proportion without surgery. We have extensive experience shaping nose filler to Asian facial anatomy, taking into account skin thickness, bridge height, and overall facial harmony.
Do you treat complex or revision filler cases?
Yes. Many of our clients come to us for complex cases — asymmetry, previous filler migration, or results from elsewhere that need refinement. Annie's background as a former eye surgeon gives her the anatomical precision to assess and correct these cases safely, with a focus on natural, long-term results.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Longevity depends on the area treated and the product used. Lip fillers typically last 6–9 months; cheek and jawline fillers may last 12–18 months or longer. Denser formulations used in structural areas (chin, jawline) tend to last the longest.
Can filler be dissolved if I don't like the result?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which rapidly breaks down the filler. This makes HA fillers a low-risk, reversible option. Non-HA fillers such as Sculptra and Radiesse (biostimulants) are not dissolvable and are discussed separately.
Is there bruising or swelling after dermal filler?
Mild swelling is common for 24–72 hours, particularly in the lip area. Bruising is possible and may last up to 7–10 days. Using a cannula instead of a needle in vascular areas reduces bruising risk. Arnica supplements may help reduce post-treatment bruising.
What is the difference between filler and Botox?
Botox & Neurotoxin relaxes muscles to smooth dynamic expression lines. Filler adds physical volume to restore structure and fullness. They address different concerns and are frequently combined in a comprehensive treatment plan — often referred to as a liquid facelift.
